love is love but what is love

we love most of our family and some friends but what about love between two people that are a couple in love. Is love the hearts bursting above your head when you see them? is it the smile that you give each other because you can't help but stare at them? is it talking with each other without having to talk non stop?  is it  physical attraction? is it how they make each other feel-strong, safe and secure with the love that each feel for the other? Can love be created? can attraction be lust without love?
can love be for someone that you make yourself think you love each other? the answer is yes and no, as with anything there is no easy response. we have free will but we also make decisions based on things we dont realize had an affect until later in life. One thing for sure is that as time passes and the years fly by you learn that things that were so TRAUMATIC then are not at the same level latter in life. The whole "i love and cant live without" becomes' cant force someone to stay if they dont want t'o and yes you can live without them, its just not as fun. but so many times the relationship-love can not be as good as we have imagined it should be. Here is the perfect life---insert his picture here and life is great....as long as "he" fits the round hole, but if he is square he can not be blamed for not being seen for who he really is...this works in reverse. Life decisions are hard to be made when we are too wrapped up in what we want rather that looking at the situation objectively. but we can see clearly when it is someone else and their life. wish i could see clearly and acknowledge the why and what and where at the time rather than after.
