In general I don't listen to music, news, talk politics or religion. If I don't like these things what is there left to talk about. Well it turns out there is a lot I could talk about, I mean really I can go on and on any topic you can think of; childhood trauma-been there, dysfunctional family-got it, the good the bad and the "she is a great student but does like to socialize" talks a lot; moving from school where I was top dog to new school where i was dog, dating as a teenager and a young divorced mom and as a 40+, (much much more differences than you would think) marriage for the right reason to wrong guy or wrong guy wrong reasons-did it.
attracted the same kind of man (I must have a sign on my forhead "use me and abuse me") so i gave up on dating and focused on raising my children-loved it, as earlier stated my school time was spent socializing but i did make time enough to get average grades (I work well under pressure-do projects the night before they are due) and worked fastfood restaurants thru highschool-socializing again, at 30 i went to college-finally ready to learn, jobs in my life went from fast food to baseball AAA team to upper management. lets see what else can i find to talk about? TV currently hooked on "Golden Girls" and "Rossanna" and most of the "Housewives" shows and trying to learn as i watch Ghost Whisper". I read Sylvia Browne (she has been letting me down lately) James Van Praagh and John Edwards. I read romance with comedy and some action/drama. my very favorite author's are Christiane Feehan and Sherrlynn Kenyon and if I want a really steamy story I will read Lora Leigh-she is fun but if you are easily offended about sex you might not want to read. I have another 40 or so authors. I like to watch biography channel and history channel, I enjoy "Dangerous Catch" and "Tori & Dean" and "Ice Road Truckers". i used to watch soap operas (most people say that my life is one big soap opera and they cant wait for the next days events) but now I only watch when they bring Dixie back because her and Tad are the best couple ever. I cry every time I watch "Steel Magnolias" and "Green Mile"I love the country and enjoy the city, I like cold weather and hot, I like camping or staying in a nice-get-a-way with all the modern conveniences, I like to be relaxed and casual or high power don't stop til i get it done, lol. My mind tends to do that as i get older-I quote song or movie line but these days everyone is too young to remember and it takes the fun out of it to try to explain. One job I had each month they would send out a message on all computers "DANGER DOING A SYSTEM SAVE DANGER" or some such danger note, well one day I was in a quirky mood and thought i would give a kick to everyone Friday afternoon, so I sent message (to everyone in the company) DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER. It was so much fun reading my co-workers haha's but then I started getting the who is Will and why is there danger....anyway that made me feel old on a nice Friday afternoon. So as for my first attempt at writing a blog I sure have talked about nothing, and since no one will really read this its like have a conversation with someone and they will never tell you to shut up, right? right.
